This is the home page of John Pahl.

John has a degree in Mathematics from Cambridge University and over 20 years experience in the radio communications industry. John was a founding director of Transfinite Systems and led the development of Visualyse Professional and Visualyse Spectrum Manager.

He is also a keen sailor and has crossed the Atlantic as part of the ARC, competed in the Fastnet Race, crewed a classic 30 square metre yacht at the Centenary anniversary at Stockholm and several Fowey Classics plus sailed a Volvo 60 at Cowes Week.

John has also written a young adults novel called "The Martian" and is currently looking for an agent. A key part of the story is the search by a teenager called Tom for the spacecraft that will take a him to Earth. It has been lost within the Juvantae Chasm and he and his friend JT are flying across the surface of Mars in a blimp.
